Look at me
Do you see?
These permanent lines
You’ve etched into my face
Look at me
Do you refuse to listen?
To the nightmares that haunt me
The ones from which I run
Look at me
Are you blind?
You are so far lost in self pity
With featherless wings dragging behind you
Look at me
Do I look like I’m joking?
We’re on the road to self destruction
I’m counting down the days
Look at me
Just look at me
Tell me this was never a lie
Tell me you love me one more time
Look at me now, then later
And tell me you can’t hear my blood curling cries
As I run from your nightmares

it was good. i liked the repetition but the main parts of each stanza switched around alot. you seemed to be talking about a bunch of different things rather then one thing. But if that is what you were going for then. good job. I did like it very much.
I really don't see what this poem means...I like how it was written as a way to express to someone, but what are you expressing?

Oh-em-gee. Wow. Great poem, I must say. I love the use of repetition and how your speaking to someone (although the reader feels like your talking to them). You're a great writer! Keep it up!
